Privacy policy

The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser. What you type — your pay, your dates, your service — is never sent to us, stored, or shared. There are no accounts and no signup.

What we collect

Calculator inputs: nothing. Every calculation on LeavePayout happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your figures never leave your device, and there is no form submission, database or account behind them.

Server logs: like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs of page requests (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These are used to keep the site running and to understand which pages are useful. They are not combined with calculator inputs, because we never receive those.

Downloads: if you use a calculator's copy, CSV or print buttons, the file is generated in your browser. We do not see it.

Cookies and advertising

LeavePayout does not set cookies of its own. If third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) is added to the site in future, those vendors may use cookies to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's advertising policies. If that happens, this policy will be updated before the ads go live, and any consent tools required in your region will be provided.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal information — we do not hold any about our visitors beyond the server logs described above. Links to government and other external sites (such as the Fair Work Ombudsman and the ATO) are provided for reference; those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Material changes — anything that would mean collecting more than described here — will be made obvious on the homepage as well.

No signup. No email gate. Every calculation happens in your browser — nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

LeavePayout gives estimates only. It is not legal or financial advice.
